Anzac Parade Memorials

Our involvement in this project was to manufacture the precast panels required to restore the Memorial sites along Anzac Parade in Canberra, as well as the upgrade of the parade roadworks.

At each memorial, wingwall panels with seating facilities were placed to enhance the existing memorials. Each wingwall, consisting of 16 large panels was manufactured in heights ranging between 300mm and 1750mm to fit in with the declining ground level of the parade.

The panels and seating were treated with an acid etched finish to give them a 'weathered' look, so as to blend them seamlessly with the existing concrete at the site.

Australian National Korean War Memorial

Retaining-wall panels were manufactured to match the sloping ground level of the site, as well as step-treads for the central stairs which lead up to the focal point of the site.

Australian Hellenic Memorial

Premier Precast's involvement encompassed the manufacture of precast seat capping for the Hellenic Memorial amphitheatre. The seat capping was fabricated to meet the radii of each level.
